PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: Matthew 8

What do you sense the Lord saying to you in this passage?

“They pleaded with him to leave their region.” (Matthew 8:34)
Whatever demons are, I do know what they do.
They are an invisible presence and power, trying to ruin us.
They are negative messengers (angel = messenger), bad influences.
When we are consumed by them, they bring misery and trouble.
Why do these demons beg to be sent into the pigs
It is all part of their strategy, to scare people away from Jesus.
The people plead with Jesus to leave, that’s what the demons want.
They will use whatever scare tactics and fear-mongering they can.
Where are you being agitated, frightened, disturbed, unsettled?
Guess what is using this in a negative destructive way?
I need to discern where the voices in my head are coming.
The situations that frighten me are meant to make me doubt Jesus.
Am I sitting with Jesus, or am I turning away from Jesus?
Don’t let the enemy drive you away from Jesus, that’s what it wants.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, these demonic influences are using my circumstances to make me doubt, to drive a wedge between us. Please do not leave me, but come closer to me, and save me from these demons.
