SCRIPTURE: Mark 4:26-29
Here is what God’s world is like.
This is what we can see and know and hope for when we see this world with a God perspective.
Buried beneath the soil, hidden the dirt and muck and mess, lies a living, growing seed.
A seed of love, joy, hope, kindness, miracle, blessing, rising up here and there and everywhere.
All by itself… so it might seem, but actually God is doing it!
The thing is, we can get so focused on the dirt and mess that we fail to see the growing seed.
Every day as we trample the soil, we forget to look for the signs of blessing and life of God’s world peaking through.
More than that, we even enjoy the fruit of that seed every day, yet we fail to recognize and appreciate it.
This is God’s world (no matter what people or circumstances or thoughts may say), and He is growing good things, bringing out life from death, hope from despair.
Look for it, savour it, thank Him for it, share it with others: enjoy the harvest and spread the seed!

PRAYER
Father, today I have already tasted some good things. Open my eyes to see the signs of life and love and hope and blessing, to enjoy them and to share them with others!
