Reflecting on Luke 16:1-13
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” (Luke 16:10)
Everyone is trusted (graced) by God with something, more than we realize.
I am a steward of everything within my realm of responsibility.
My mind, my mouth, my body, my ability to choose, my hands, my feet.
My possessions, my education, my job, my bank account (big or small), my time.
My family, my friends, the people I meet, the place where I live.
All that we have in this life is God’s gift to us.
What we do with what we have is our gift to God… or should be.
In this life we are entrusted with much, but what do we do with it?
Do we use it in a God-like way, generously blessing others, sharing and caring?
It all comes down to grace, and what we do with that grace.
We are freely graced, and that grace is meant to flow through us.
Selfish people stop the flow, and keep the grace for themselves.
They prove to be unreliable, untrustworthy vessels of grace.
How is God’s grace flowing to me?
Hw is God’s grace flowing through me?
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I have been entrusted much. Today I have the opportunity to use my hands, my mouth, my mind, my possessions as a steward of grace. May Your grace flow through me, not just to me!
