His grace in me!

SCRIPTURE: Acts 14:8-20
“We too are only human, like you.” (Acts 14:15)
I am just a messenger, human, like everyone I serve.
I am not superhuman, nor am I less than human.
There’s no fear that people will mistake me for a god.
But my weaknesses might qualify me as a fraud.
“For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect.” (1 Corinthians 15:9-10)
Paul knew who he was, and I need to remember who I am.
Not me, but His grace in me.
I am a servant of the Great One, the true ‘God in human form’.
My strengths do not qualify me, my weaknesses do not disqualify me.
His grace qualifies me, and accomplishes His purpose through me.
May people worship God and Jesus because of what they see in me!
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, no mistaking me for a god, but You are definitely God-like material. Thank You for qualifying me to be Your servant, and for pointing people to You.
