SCRIPTURE: Psalm 119:97-120
“Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.” (Psalm 119:97)
When I spend time with the Lord reading the bible, I usually hear His Voice.
Through the stories or teachings, something connects with me personally.
An insight into my own heart, how I am living, where I am going astray.
Often it doesn’t come right away, I need to spend time with it.
But when I do meditate with the Lord on what a bible passage says, He speaks.
Not a voice, but insight, understanding, awareness, wisdom.
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
I love those moments when the light goes on.
It’s an inner ‘Aha’ moment, when pieces start to come together in my mind.
Rarely is it just information about something, it’s usually transformative.
Something I need to address or change, or something that changes how I view and live life.
It’s like a flashlight, giving me just enough light in an otherwise dark world.
Just enough light for me to know what steps I need to take today.
“My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.” (Psalm 119:112)

PRAYER
Lord, thank You for the way You give me insight for living. Thank You for speaking to me as I read the bible. Thank You for the light You give me every day.
Observation/Application
Walking God’s Way
is to always focus on Him in all things.
It is living His Word and doing it.
Word and Deed.
Study His Word.
At all times I need to serve the living God.
I need to walk in His SonShine
to make my LightShine
along my pilgrim’s progress.
My heart must at all times be turned unto HOME.
Nowhere am I safer than my hand in Your.
You are the lift beneath my wings.
At all times You enable me.
You are my Protector
and Christ Jesus My Saviour.
Help me daily to live for Jesus
according to Your Way
Enable me.
In the mountains of joy, in the valley of tears

When the flame’s burning bright, when I’m weary and dry

You are my strength and you are my song giving me hope and guiding me on
