SCRIPTURE: Ecclesiastes 9-12
“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)
What is the best way to live in this broken, messed up world?
This guy decides that respect for God and His will is the best way to live; it’s his bottom line.
What is my bottom line, the most important thing for me in life?
That I’m happy, comfortable, rich, successful, healthy, popular?
All of these things are a chasing after wind, they will not last.
Every other path leads to a dead end… literally.
One day God will look at my life, at how I lived and what I pursued.
I want my bottom line to be my devotion to God, and a commitment to living His way!
I choose God, He is my bottom line!

God, every other path leads to a dead end… literally. I entrust myself to You and Your mercy, and anticipate the day when You will set things straight.
