Reading through Matthew 26:1-35

Posted on June 16, 2025June 17, 2025 by Norm

This week (Jun 16-Jun 22, 2025) I am listening with Jesus through Matthew 26. We are now approaching the moment when heaven and hell collide, and Jesus is caught in the middle. We will see the different responses to Jesus at this critical moment, and reflect on our own possible response if we were there at that moment.

What questions come to mind for you as you read these sections? What impression do you get about Jesus? What questions are raised, or what doesn’t make sense to you?

Are there any lines that you find comforting or convicting, confusing or compelling? Most important, what do you sense Jesus saying to you?

Leave your thoughts or questions in the comments below. And you may find it helpful to watch the Bible Project videos on Matthew, to get a sense of what Matthew is writing about.

think about it!

Each day is a gift. Unwrap it carefully, enjoying the moment in eager anticipation of what the Giver is giving you.
