Reading through Matthew 25

Posted on June 9, 2025June 9, 2025 by Norm

This week (Jun 9-Jun 15, 2025) I am listening with Jesus through Matthew 25. There are three familiar parables that Jesus gives relating to the return of Jesus, and what we need to be doing until then. A quick summary theme of the 3 parables together could be: be prepared, use what the Lord has blessed you with to bless Jesus by blessing others!

What questions come to mind for you as you read these sections? What impression do you get about Jesus? What questions are raised, or what doesn’t make sense to you?

Are there any lines that you find comforting or convicting, confusing or compelling? Most important, what do you sense Jesus saying to you?

Leave your thoughts or questions in the comments below. And you may find it helpful to watch the Bible Project videos on Matthew, to get a sense of what Matthew is writing about.

think about it!

Truth divorced from experience will always dwell in the realms of doubt.
