SCRIPTURE: Mark 16:9-13
“But they did not believe it.” (Mark 16:11)
Have you ever tried to explain to someone that Jesus is real, is alive!
It is not surprising that many people have a hard time believing it.
It’s just another resurrection myth, no one comes back from death like this, there’s no proof.
But try as they might, they could not convince Mary that He was NOT alive.
Even though reason and logic were on their side, she knew what she knew, what she experienced.
Jesus was alive, she had talked with Him, no one and nothing could take this away from her.
Her life would never be the same, forever she would be impacted by the living Jesus she knew to be real.
Today I am going to do what Tony does, express this message with a song: I Serve A Risen Saviour!

The Hope of all who seek Him, The Help of all who find,

What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, You are alive, I’ve talked with You, no one and nothing can take this away from me. My life will never be the same. Forever I will be impacted by the living Jesus I know to be real.
Observations/Application
His Word is true.
Words and actions go together.
But do I believe the words?
A friend has been cured of cancer. Really?
I too am like the doubting Thomas – unless I see – then I will believe.
And Jesus lets them see in order to strengthen their faith. He let me see through His Word – the Way – so that I might see and believe.
Listen to Him speaking loud and clear through His champions – His messengers. He speaks to us everywhere but only if I have the ears to hear.
Prayer
Help me daily to hear You speaking loud and clear through Your Word, through others and through Your creation story Lord. Open my eyes and my ears that I may see You this day in all I do and say. Help me this day in my walk with You.
