    Observations/Application

    Rules for the soldiers and for the army of the Lord according the His rules so that they may be victorious. And more rules were given for living in His presence. These rules give life. Doing this will give God’s blessing in the land God is giving you – your inheritance. Do this and live – so that it may go well with you.

    Once again we are reminded that the sins of the fathers are visited upon the next generation. They are to stay out of the assembly of God

    Fulfill your vows. What you say and what you do must be the same. Stay pure by your words and actions following carefully what the Lord commanded you. Know His Word and the only way to know that Word is to read that Word daily. As God redeemed His people then from Egypt so too He continues to redeem His people today but today as the people then – we must live according to His rules.

    The earth is the Lord’s and to recognize that the people will give the first fruits of the land to the Lord. This reminds me of the JOY principle – Jesus is first in all things. All for Jesus.Each and every day is the Lord’s Day and He is my God. I need to listen and do as He has said. Today God Is First as He must be every day. Others must see Christ Jesus living in me.

    Prayer:
    Help me to live for Jesus this day Lord by leading me and guiding me by Your Spirit.

    O Jesus, I have promised
    To serve thee to the end;
    Be thou for ever near me,
    My Master and my Friend:
    I shall not fear the battle
    If thou art by my side,
    Nor wander from the pathway
    If thou wilt be my guide.

    O let me feel thee near me:
    The world is ever near;
    I see the sights that dazzle,
    The tempting sounds I hear;
    My foes are ever near me,
    Around me and within;
    But, Jesus, draw thou nearer,
    And shield my soul from sin.

    O let me hear thee speaking
    In accents clear and still,
    Above the storms of passion,
    The murmurs of self-will;
    O speak to reassure me,
    To hasten or control;
    O speak, and make me listen,
    Thou guardian of my soul.

    O Jesus, thou hast promised
    To all who follow thee,
    That where thou art in glory
    There shall thy servant be;
    And, Jesus, I have promised
    To serve thee to the end:
    O give me grace to follow,
    My Master and my friend.

    O let me see thy foot-marks,
    And in them plant mine own;
    My hope to follow duly
    Is in thy strength alone:
    O guide me, call me, draw me,
    Uphold me to the end;
    And then in heaven receive me,
    My Saviour and my friend.

think about it!

The dark night of the soul comes just before revelation. When everything is lost, and all seems darkness, then comes the new life and all that is needed.
