SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:10-23
Paul was content. He learned the secret of living in all and any situations for it was the Lord our God who gave him the strength. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. The joy Paul also spoke of was the joy he saw of God at work in others.
Each day I must prayerfully go onward, talking with my Lord, God. Help me Lord to live for You always. Help me to live as part of the family of God. Help me to live in brotherly unity because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Help me to focus on the mind of Christ my Saviour, and as a Christ follower, I will learn unity, humility, joy and peace. Help me daily to live for Jesus.
May the mind of Christ, my Savior,
Live in me from day to day,
By His love and power controlling
All I do and say.
May the Word of God dwell richly
In my heart from hour to hour,
So that all may see I triumph
Only through His power.
May the peace of God my Father
Rule my life in everything,
That I may be calm to comfort
Sick and sorrowing.
May the love of Jesus fill me
As the waters fill the sea;
Him exalting, self abasing,
This is victory.
May I run the race before me,
Strong and brave to face the foe,
Looking only unto Jesus
As I onward go.
May His beauty rest upon me,
As I seek the lost to win,
And may they forget the channel,
Seeing only Him.
