    Observations/Application
    A detailed description of the palace and the temple are found here. It shows the skill of the craftsman and the wealth of Solomon. He did what was promised and put in the temple the things of his father David.
    When the ark was brought into the temple there was a great ceremony and sacrificing. And the glory of the Lord filled the temple and the priests could not do their tasks for His presence in the cloud. Solomon did as was expected and asked – doing what his father couldn’t do. And His presence was there. How do I see God’s presence in my life? He can not be contained. God is everywhere. Where do I see Him? Open my eyes Lord! Open my ears Lord! Open my lips Lord so that I see, hear and talk to Him each day in my service to Him in my living for Jesus. May I see His faithfulness every day.
    I need to walk before the Lord God faithfully and with integrity so that others may see the Lord in my pilgrim’s progress. How shall I live this day for my King needs to be a daily question.
    Solomon was led astray. How do I keep my heart turned toward home? How do I keep on the straight and narrow – the road less travelled?
    I must stayed focussed and keep my Word and talk to my God everyday asking for His presence and His guidance each day.

    Prayer
    Help me each day anew Lord to walk in Your ‘SonShine.’

    When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
    What a glory He sheds on our way!
    While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
    And with all who will trust and obey.
    Refrain
    Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
    To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
    Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
    But His smile quickly drives it away;
    Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
    Can abide while we trust and obey.
    Refrain
    Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
    But our toil He doth richly repay;
    Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
    But is blessed if we trust and obey.
    Refrain
    But we never can prove the delights of His love
    Until all on the altar we lay;
    For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
    Are for them who will trust and obey.
    Refrain
    Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.
    Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.
    What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
    Never fear, only trust and obey.

think about it!

I do not believe in fate that falls on men however they act; but I do believe in fate that falls on them unless they act.
