THE STORY OF JESUS: Mark 5:1-20
“Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.” (Mark 5:17)
The dark voices in this man’s head had taken over his life.
I know someone right now who is also possessed by dark voices, and he is hurting many.
‘Demons’ are messengers of darkness who attack and possess our minds.
In other words, this man was possessed by a legion of lies.
These voices have no power, except the power to deceive.
Through their lies, their frighten, unsettle, distract and ruin people.
Here they use what happens to the pigs to frighten the people away from Jesus.
What lies and fears is the deceiver using to hinder, hurt or hold you back?
Are you allowing these lies and fears to keep Jesus away, to stay away from Him?
Jesus can set us free from these lies with the truth; the truth will set us free.
But we need to embrace it, allow it to possess us, and dwell on it continually.
What are the thoughts and messages you dwell on – are they helping or hurting you?
Silence the demons by speaking the truth of who you are as God’s child.
The more you talk about Jesus and the light – to yourself and others – the freer you will be!

Lord, these voices are good at what they do, they frighten me. But not enough to let go of You. Thank You that nothing can separate me from Your love… NOTHING!
