THINK!!!

SCRIPTURE: Luke 12:54-59
Do you notice how we become experts at minors things, but remain novices at what counts?
I can turn on the TV with my phone, but I can’t seem to stop wasting my time watching it.
I can get places faster with my car, but I don’t know where my life is going.
I can recognize the folly of other people, but I can’t seem to see it in myself.
Jesus is frustrated because the religious leaders can figure out the weather, but not the seasons of life.
They can’t recognize common sense when it is staring them in the face.
** For example, instead of being obstinate and fighting your adversary to the end, seek a peaceful resolution.
The sad thing is, we are no different; how many stupid things do we do without regard for the consequences.
Judge for yourselves (instead of for others) what is right!
Jesus is basically challenging people to THINK!!!!
If we did, we might discover how much we need God’s mercy and help.
If we did, we might look up and see God’s mercy and help staring us in the face.
If we did, we might reach out to Jesus right before us, and accept His mercy and help.
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, You are standing right here with me, yet I still try to do life on my own. Help me to think, and to see Your common sense staring me right in my face.
