I want to have this kind of song playing inside my heart as I go through each day.
To be energized by, and motivated for, God and Jesus and the Spirit in all I do and say.
To have my relationship with the Lord ‘leak out of me’, so that others see it in me.
Makes me think abput the music that I listen to through the day.
Does it feed my soul, my passion, my calling?
Does it draw me closer to the Lord, reinforce my convictions, strengthen my commitment?
Not saying that all the music I listen to needs to be ‘christian’ (whatever that might mean), but it does somehow need to be point me in the right direction…

yes, that is like what happens when love for God flows out…
I have thought about that myself -not wanting to offend ‘none Christians’ but really, why would they be offended if I knelt in the middle of the town square and praised God? They might just think I was a wierd person, or someone mentally ill…. But maybe they would sense God’s presence in what I was doing and be drawn to Him.
It is often Christians who find me wierd for my expressions of worship. Like when I want to kneel at church… I sit at the back(for other reasons)so mostly it is not too obvious and if I dance a bit I do it in the narthex.
How do you express your worship?
THANK YOU Jill!! I Love that video, it’s beautiful. It reminds me how great it is when God is so much a part of my being – in everything I do – that it just flows out… I don’t want to be so ‘out-there’ that I would be offensive to “non-Christians” but I think it’s good when we can have that expression of love and praise just come out of us. I often think of King David who was critisized by his wife for dancing at the front of the line giving praise to the Lord – sometimes it’s good to be Out-There!
