Welcoming Jesus as Lord!

THE STORY OF JESUS: Acts 2:29-36
“God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” (Acts 2:36)
Jesus is the promised messiah, Who will save us and restore God’s kingdom.
Jesus is also the restored Adam, Lord of creation (Genesis 1:26-28).
He is King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14)
We are the kings and lords that He is King and Lord of.
But we lost our lordship when we sinned and died.
Jesus regained our lordship when He obeyed and resurrected.
David was a great king, after God’s own heart…
But he sinned, and he died, like all of us.
Thankfully, as promised, God steps in to help us (see Ezekiel 34:11-16).
Because of Jesus, Satan is defeated, death is overcome, the Spirit is restored.
Adam is back on the throne, and we sit with Him (Ephesians 1:20, 2:6).
Jesus is Lord of the Universe, and He is inviting You to join Him.
He is restoring goodness in the world by His Spirit, through His followers.
Are you among those who receive Him as Lord, or those who reject Him?

PRAYER
Lord, You ARE in charge, and I AM restored. I am free to live like I was made to live, and Your Spirit is helping me to be the loving leader God intended.
