Sharing the grace that graced me!

Posted on March 29, 2017May 31, 2017 by Norm

THE STORY OF JESUS: Matthew 28:16-20
“All authority has been given to me… go and make disciples.” (Matthew 28:19)
Jesus came for one purpose: to establish the victory over Satan, sin, death and hell.
He initiates the victory, but we must implement it.
Our task is to show and share the victory… to be disciples that make disciples.
This is the heart of being a Christian.
It is not just believing something, but doing something with what we believe.
Our confidence is that Jesus is Lord, our comfort is that He is with us.
In between our calling is to let the world see and know and enter into this new life.
The good news is what Jesus has done FOR us and He does THROUGH us.
Do I trust that Jesus is Lord, is with me and will make disciples through me?
This is not about making church members, not promoting or advancing my church…
It is continuing what He began: drawing sinners to find their hope in Jesus.
“In every way make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.” (Titus 2:10)
Sinners were drawn by the grace of Jesus, and many gave up their lives for Him.
As a Jesus follower, I attract others to Him with the same grace that drew me!
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, You have graced the world by taking it back for God, and us. You have drawn me to You by Your grace. May Your grace reflect in me, that others may be drawn to follow You as well.

    The Great Commission.
    Our instructions.
    Our empowerment.
    Equipped for service.
    LightShine.
The disciples were enabled by the gift of the Spirit and His Word.
And that task still continues for you and me today.
Others must see Him living in me as I live for Him.
I must be an instrument of His peace also this day
for He has equipped me to be His servant true.

    Make me a servant
    Humble and meek
Lord let me lift up those who are weak
And may the prayers of my heart always be
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant today

    Make me a servant
    Humble and meek
Lord let me lift up those who are weak
And may the prayers of my heart always be
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant today

    Make me a servant
    Humble and meek
Lord let me lift up those who are weak
And may the prayers of my heart always be
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant today

And may the prayers of my heart always be
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant
    Make me a servant today

think about it!

Growth begins when we begin to accept our own weakness.
