the case of the missing Isaiah chapters

Posted on October 21, 2010October 21, 2010 by Norm

Sounds like a chapter in the Da Vinci Code. Is it a cover-up, what happened to Isaiah 2-9??? Scandal, maybe those are the chapters that tell us about Jesus getting married and having children? Why else would Norm skip those chapters in his bible reading schedule. Mystery? Intrigue? Cover up? Nope, just a big OOPS!

The 2010 schedule jumps from Isaiah 1 to Isaiah 10, so here is the revised reading schedule.

22. Isaiah 1-2
23. Isaiah 3-4
24. Isaiah 5-6
25. Isaiah 7-8
26. Isaiah 9-10
27. Isaiah 11-12
28. Isaiah 13-14
29. Isaiah 15-16
30. Isaiah 17
31. Isaiah 18

think about it!

Surely there is something in the unruffled calm of nature that overawes our little anxieties and doubts; the sight of the deep-blue sky and the clustering stars above seems to impart a quiet to the mind.
